Solar

From solar cars to solar fields, via solar powered telescopes, CAN (Controller Area Network) has been chosen as the communications protocol of choice in a number of solar systems. CAN bus applications can act as the link between the motor controllers that track the sun, the power generation and supply systems, transmission and steering control if it’s a solar vehicle, network-capable equipment such as GPS, and user interfaces. Providing a deterministic network that is both high performance and highly reliable, CAN system design also offers great flexibility and cost-effectiveness in solar applications.
