Congratulations to the winner of this past weekend’s Indy Autonomous Challenge: TUM Autonomous Motorsport from the Technische Universität München (TUM)!
TUM took the grand prize during the first ever autonomous race at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. For the Indy Autonomous Challenge, 21 universities from around the world formed into 10 teams and were tasked with programming Dallara AV-21 racecars to win the $1.5M in prizes. The ultimate goal: to autonomously race an Indy car.
Kvaser was delighted to provide the teams with the USB-to-CAN interfaces, joining a long list of proud sponsors, including Kvaser Associates New Eagle, AutonomouStuff, and Schaeffler.
